The new PairPHNXX unit deploys in a single day to deliver power anywhere — from farm fields to remote tribal lands — available in solar capacities of 46 kW to 93 kW and battery storage from 42 kWh to 636 kWh

A new collaboration between U.S.-based Paired Power and Australian manufacturer PHNXX is pushing the boundaries of how quickly renewable power can reach off-grid sites. Their joint product, PairPHNXX, is a fully portable, self-contained “solar microgrid” that ships in a 20-foot container and can be unfolded, wired, and producing electricity within a day — no assembly required.

Designed for operations where the grid can’t reach, the companies are positioning PairPHNXX to support ranches, construction sites, mining operations, military outposts, emergency response teams, and remote communities that need power fast.

“PairPHNXX allows for clean energy to be generated and deployed wherever and whenever it is needed,” said Tom McCalmont, CEO of Paired Power. “This is about making clean energy truly accessible for everyone, everywhere.”

Containerized design

Each PairPHNXX arrives ready to operate within the footprint of a standard shipping container. Systems are available in solar capacities of 46 to 93 kW and battery storage from 42 to 636 kWh, with power outputs between 30 and 60 kW in multiple voltage configurations. That modular approach lets users match system size to demand — or link multiple containers for larger microgrid deployments — without trenching, foundation work, or permanent installation.
