GLENS FALLS – The Glens Falls-Saratoga Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) invites the public, members, and regional outdoor enthusiasts to its annual dinner and business meeting on Friday, October 17, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Lake George (2223 Canada Street, Lake George).
The chapter’s largest annual gathering will feature dinner, chapter business, and a special presentation by Adirondack photographer, filmmaker, and author Jonathan Zaharek, who will share his talk: “A Century in the High Peaks: The Legacy of the 46ers.”
Zaharek’s presentation will take attendees on a visual and narrative journey, exploring the beauty, challenge, and lasting legacy of the Adirondack High Peaks. The immersive talk features photography, behind-the-scenes stories, and personal reflections from Zaharek’s decade-long commitment to hiking and documenting the region.
